O(O)OTD: Winter is coming

Die Zeit rennt! Viel zu lange gab es kein richtiges Outfit mehr auf dem Blog und auch wenn ich die „Outfit of the Week“-Posts liebe, vermisse ich doch die liebevollen, kleinen Fotoshootings die meine Looks festhalten. Ich gucke nämlich total gerne zurück und suche mir manchmal Outfits aus meinem eigenen Fundus über das Blogarchiv aus, weil ich die meisten Teile seit Ewigkeiten trage und ich mich so immer ganz einfach selber inspirieren kann. Hoffentlich habe ich auch dieses Jahr wieder genug Fotos für einen Jahresrückblick beisammen – aber jetzt reden wir erst einmal über diesen Look inklusive Lieblingsmantel (Nummer 2 – meine Mäntelsammlung ist mir „heilig“ und auf einen Favoriten kann ich mich schwer einigen). Aber dieser steht ganz hoch im Kurs!

Time flies! Long-time, no outfit of the day on the good old blog. For too long there was no proper outfit on the blog, and even if I love the „outfit of the week“ posts, I miss the lovely, small photoshoots that we used to do to capture my looks. I love to look back, and sometimes I choose outfits from my collection via the blog archive, because I wear most of the pieces for ages and I can always easily inspire myself that way. I also hope I have enough photos for a 2019 outfit review again this year – but for now, let’s stick to this look including my favourite coat and let’s talk about that, shall we? Outfit: Inspired by Barcelona

Die ersten Sonnenstrahlen, ein kleiner Ortswechsel und jede Menge Inspiration: Mein kleiner Barcelona-Trip brachte mir einige Sommersprossen und ein paar neue Lieblingsteile im Kleiderschrank. Ganz weit oben auf dieser Liste: Das farbenfrohe Oberteil von &otherstories und die Frida Kahlo-inspirierte Clutch. Ich liebe den starken Kontrast zwischen Pink, Rot & Navyblau und trage die Kombination am liebsten mit dieser Seidenhose von Stella McCartney oder einer hellblauen Leinenhose, die ich ebenso in Barcelona erstanden habe.

Außerdem liebe ich momentan ausgefallene Augen Make-Ups mit farbenfrohen Linern und Lidschatten. Was haltet ihr von diesem roten Eyeliner? Ich habe außerdem endlich ein Eye-Gloss gefunden, welches man sogar darüber auftragen kann. Funktioniert auch mit Metallic-Tönen.

The first rays of sunshine, a small change of scenery and a lot of inspiration: My little trip to Barcelona brought me some cheeky freckles and a few new favourite pieces in my wardrobe. Right on top of this list: the colourful top from &otherstories and this quirky Frida Kahlo-inspired clutch. I love the strong contrast between pink, red & navy blue and tend to wear this look with my Stella McCartney silk pants or light blue linen pants, which I also bought in Barcelona. I also have a thing for colourful liners & eyeshadows at the moment. Any thoughts on this slightly winged, red liner? It’s a cream formula and I also have gloss to put on top if I fancy it.

Outfit: Big City Blossom

Weiße Jeans sind seit einer ganzen Weile ein fester Bestandteil meiner Frühlingsgarderobe. Sie wirken frisch und sind eine willkommene Abwechslung zu ihren traditionelleren Geschwistern in Schwarz oder Navy. Dieses Modell von VILA habe ich euch schon öfter gezeigt – heute vermutlich zum letzten Mal. Ein übersehender Granatapfelkern zog mich mit quasi übermenschlicher, magnetischer Anziehungskraft an und ich ließ mich unbedarft genau auf diesem Quadratzentimeter nieder und verhunzte meine weißes Lieblingsbeinkleid für allemal. Seufz!

Passiert so etwas eigentlich nur mir, hat das was auf einem Modeblog zu suchen und was tue ich, wenn der Fleck nach einer Backpulverbehandlung komisch Graublau ist? Helft mir bitte, nach dem Sprung!

White jeans are an absolute spring staple. They are fresh and crisp and go with almost everything – just like their big sisters in navy and black. This item by VILA is one of my favorites and I have worn them a couple of times on the blog already – and this might be their last day out and about. I managed to place myself in exactly the same spot as a pomegranate seed and was left with a big old fat stain. Not so pretty, guys…

After experimenting with baking soda I am still not convinced that they will have a comeback, so don’t wait too long.

Outfit: London Blooms

Bewegen wir uns doch heute mal ein, zwei oder gleich drei Schritte weit weg von meiner Comfort Zone. Diese besteht nämlich üblicherweise aus Layer Look, extravaganten Schnitten und flachen Schuhen. Als ich dieses Outfit zusammenstellte, war mein Gedanke sicherlich nicht: „So! Jetzt mache ich mal was ganz verrücktes und verkleide mich.“ – sondern viel mehr kombinierte ich einige Lieblingsteile, die ich schon lange besitze, zu einem Look den ich so vorher noch nie anhatte. Absoluter Eyecatcher? Das anschmiegsame Kleid von Max&Co, dass ich schon mehr als 3 Jahre im Schrank hängen habe und noch nie auf dem Blog gezeigt habe. Warum eigentlich?

Let’s get out of our comfort zones! It feels so good the try something new and I totally stepped away from my regular style with this look. No odd shapes, no layering and high heels – welcome a brand new me! But nothing is really new in this outfit, apart from the attitude that comes with it. See the whole look right after the jump.

Outfit: New Carven Kicks

Wenn ich mir ein Outfit aussuche, fange ich meistens mit einem Teil an. Die Farbwahl bestimmt dann meistens den gesamten Look und – et voilà: Ich habe ein fertiges Outfit. Steilvorlage für den heutigen Style? Meine neuen Lackschuhe von Carven, die ich schon länger aus der Ferne angeschmachtet habe. Sie haben etwas derbes und wirken durch das hochpolierte Lack und den silbernen Verschluss trotzdem elegant. Wie ich sie kombiniert habe, seht ihr nach dem Sprung.

When I am trying to pull an outfit for the day, I mostly start with one central piece. This is mandatory for my color scheme. Todays inspiration? Definitely my new Carven shoes, which I had for quite some time on my shopping list. They are the perfect mix between sturdy and elegant. See the whole look right after the jump!

Outfit: Laidback in London

Nachdem die eine oder andere Umzugskiste mit Kleidung noch auf sich warten lässt und ich die letzten Tage eher im Pyjama verbracht habe, fühlte ich mich gestern mal wieder bereit für einen Outfitpost. Und nicht nur irgendeinen, nein, sondern den ersten offiziellen aus London! Ich entschied mich für eine Black & White Kombi die allein durch den wunderschönen Mantel auskommt und schlenderte damit durch die eher herbstlich anmutende Stadt. So bald man jedoch Richtung Oxford Street kommt, versinkt man in einem Meer an Weihnachtsbeleuchtung und kommt damit dann auch langsam in XMAS-Stimmung.

Some of my boxes full of clothing are still lost in transportation and I honestly lived in my pj’s for the last few days – so I didn’t exactly had the chance to shoot a first london outfit post yet. So after a morning full of netflix and watching christmas vlogs I decided to proper dress myself and go outside. I also packed my camera and finally snapped my first outfit post in a more autumnal set up in my neighborhood. But don’t get fooled by this, a few streets down from here near oxford streets the christmas lights are on – big time! See my whole look right after the jump.

Outfit: All rosegold, all good.

Roségold, Kupfer, Metallic. Ganz egal! Ich bin süchtig und könnte meinen Kleiderschrank, meine Wohnung und vermutlich auch alles andere, von dem ihr niemals geglaubt hättet, dass es eine solche Schattierung haben könnte, mit diesem Farbschema füllen. Ihr habt mich ertappt. Ich kann einfach nicht genug bekommen. Und nun? Ich würde sagen, nichts weiter. Einfach anziehen und los.

I am all about rosegold and copper – honestly – you can’t go wrong with it. I especially love it when it comes to accessories and interior pieces. It looks cool and yet elegant, the perfect mix for fall and the transition from summery looks to more settled color schemes.

Outfit: Leater & Sunshine

Die ersten Sonnenstrahlen aktivieren in meinem Modehirn immer sofort den immergleichen Prozess: Lederjacke an, Sonnenbrille aus – und raus! Natürlich gibt es auch so richtige Lederjackenmädchen, die sogar bei –10 Grad mit dem dünnen Bikermodell frieren, aber das ist nichts für mich. Umso mehr freue ich mich dann, wenn die Temperaturen auf 15 Grad klettern und ich das ganze mit einem kuscheligen Schal und der ein oder anderen gut verstecken Schicht Kleidung (hallo, frieren ist einfach 2013) kombinieren kann. Was sind eure Frühlings-Staples?

The first beams of sunshine always activate a single process in my so called fashion brain: I grab my beloved leather jacket, a nice pair of shades – and go! I know there are those girls around who simply live in their delicate biker jackets – but I just can’t stand the cold and still manage to cheat with double layers in spring. Outfit: Black meets Burgundy

Fast schon frühlingshaft ist es heute draußen am ersten März (Zeit, wo rennst du nur hin?) und als kleinen Kontrast hänge ich den kalten Temperaturen gedanklich mit einem düsteren Winterlook nach. Sattes, dunkles Weinrot passt perfekt zu samtigem Schwarz und ist eine meiner Go to-Kombinationen im Winter.

It definitely feels like spring today (happy 1st march by the way, time is running!) and nevertheless I have to share a belated winter look with you guys. Dark and bold colours go really well together and oxblood always matches a deep black with some texture – like my beloved COS pants. All details right after the jump!

Outfit: Rollkragen forever!

Ein Outfit ist ein gutes Outfit wenn man es drei Tage hintereinander anzieht und erst (aber auch wirklich nur dann!) auszieht, wenn das ein oder andere Teil dringend einen Waschgang nötig hat. Mir so passiert mit demselbigen Look der in seiner Gesamtheit auf Tauglichkeit für Parkspaziergänge, Drinks und Konzerte geprüft wurde – und wie kann es anders sein? Prüfung bestanden. Hier vereinen sich mal wieder alte Lieblingsteile mit neuen Favoriten, wie dem praktischen Parka von VILA. Aber mein heimlicher Favorit sind natürlich die Strümpfe.

This look is my new favorite and to celebrate this fact I wore I straight for like… 3 days? But I just couldn’t to snuggle up in this comfy sweater and the socks are an awesome highlight by second sight. The parka makes this outfit super casual and suiting for nearly every occasion from a walk in the park to to drinks and simple everything you could think of on a crisp and clear early spring day!
