TEA&TWIGS scheint nur noch aus #MyCupofTea Posts zu bestehen – und das tut mir furchtbar leid. Die letzten paar Wochen waren allerdings so rasant und schnelllebig, dass ich sonst wirklich nicht zum Filmen und Fotografieren gekommen bin. Allerdings habe ich bereits für diese Woche ein paar Beiträge in der Pipeline und ich bin sehr froh, dass es bald wieder ganz normal weiter geht. The last few weeks, however, were so fast-paced that I really did not had time to film and take pictures for other projects and blogposts. However, I already have a few posts lined up for this week and I am very glad that things will go back to normal really, really soon. Diese Woche hatten wir ein paar wunderbare freie Tage in England (Bless you, bank holiday weekend) und der Sommer ist auch endlich in die britische Metropole eingezogen. Passend dazu haben wir fast alle freien Minuten in den Parks in der Umgebung, beim Sport mit Freunden oder beim Flanieren in Islington verbracht. Außerdem habe ich diese Woche eine geballte Ladung Bullet Journal Inspiration für euch – mehr dazu nach dem Sprung!

This week we had a few wonderful free days in London (Bless you, bank holiday weekend) and just in time: summer finally arrived. We spent almost all our time in nearby parks, doing „sports“ (I don’t know if our fun tennis match really counts as sports – but it was so hilarious and I can’t wait to do it all again!) with friends or while strolling in Islington. On antoher note, I prepared a couple of Bullet Journal pictures for you guys and will upload those as well to my second Instagram channel @teaandcreate – more after the jump!

Die letzten zwei Wochen war ich viel unterwegs und zugleich gibt es gar nicht so viel zu erzählen. Meine Reisen waren leider reine Businesstrips und so hatte ich maximal eine Mittagspause frei für einen Sprung zur ein oder anderen Sehenswürdigkeit. Was mir auch noch nie passiert ist: In meinen letzten fünf Tagen in Deutschland habe ich kein einziges Instagrambild, keine einzige Story und auch kein aktuelles Video hochgeladen – ups! Dafür hatte ich an meinem letzten freien Abend einen schönen Grillabend mit der ganzen Familie, allein dafür hat sich die Reise gelohnt!

The last two weeks I was travelling a lot and at the same time, nothing really happened. The joy of business trips! From time to time I had a spare lunch break for a swift sightseeing session and that what is. This way I managed to take a few Instagrams in Barcelona and for my last five days in Germany, I did not take a single picture on my iPhone camera roll, not a single story, nor a YouTube video – ups! The good thing about this digital detox: I had one free evening that I spent with my whole family in my parents garden, doing my first BBQ of the year. Read more about my week after the jump!

MY cup of tea – #18

Mir kommt es wie gestern vor, dass wir das neue Jahr begrüßt haben. Geht es euch genauso? Aber eigentlich ist schon fast Halbzeit und wir begrüßen den Mai – Wahnsinn! Jetzt muss es passend dazu nur noch wärmer werden – oder? Die vergangene Woche habe ich geschäftlich einen Kurztrip nach Paris unternommen, meinen Indoor Garten weitergepflegt und wieder versucht mehr Yoga zu machen um die Work/Life Balance wieder ins Gleichgewicht zu bringen.

Jetzt seid ihr dran: Was habt ihr so erlebt und habt ihr tolle Songs für mich, die einen so richtig in Frühlingsstimmung bringen? Wenn ja – gerne her damit!

It feels like yesterday that we have welcomed the new year. But actually is almost halftime now and welcome to the May madness (no it’s gonna be may memes here, sorry)! Nevertheless, we are still desperately waiting for spring and the temperature to adjust … bring it on sun!? Last week I did a business trip to Paris, continued working on my indoor garden and tried again to do more yoga to balance out my workload. Let’s put it like that: I am still a work in progress. Es tut mir so unglaublich leid, dass ich momentan zwischen der Pendlerei, meiner Arbeit und dem eingeklemmten Nerv letzter Woche nicht so richtig zum Schreiben & Reflektieren für eine meiner liebsten Blogformate komme: Den #MycupofTea Post! Allerdings bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, dass ihr mir das alle gerne verzeiht und ich mir den Druck zu 99% selber mache. Genug davon – jetzt zu den positiven Dingen und vielen bunten Bildern, die euch meine Woche visuell nachfühlen lassen.

I’m so incredibly sorry for being on hiatus for such a long time! Travelling, my work and the pinched nerve last week did not really go with the desire to write & reflect for one of my favourite formats on the blog: #MycupofTea! However, I’m pretty sure that you will forgive me in an instant and all the pressure comes – as in most cases – from yours truly: myself. Enough – let’s get back to the sweet side of life and many colourful pictures that make reminiscing easy.

Happy Monday, everybody! I kickstarted this week with a massive breakout on my chin, an even more massive coffee spill and the typical Monday mood. What a time to be alive – let’s just snap out of it and concentrate on all the positive things happening. Let’s talk the past week! Good vibes only, delicious food, the best company … and those landscapes! The scenery and weather changes in Iceland are breathtaking and challenging at the same time and it was a really unique experience.

I tried my best to gather my thoughts in today’s #MyCupofTea post and will also add a little Iceland guide later that week as well as an extra long weekly vlog episode tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Happy Monday, ihr Lieben! Ich habe diese Woche feierlich mit einem massiven Breakout am Kinn, einem noch massiveren Kaffeefleck auf meiner gesamten Garderobe und der typischen Montagstimmung eingeläutet. Was für ein Leben! Vermutlich einfach der richtige Zeitpunkt, um sich bewuwsst auf die positives Dinge zu konzentrieren – auch wenn es manchmal schwer fällt. Aber wo wir schon bei den guten Vibes sind: Lasst uns über die vergangene Woche reden! Schöne Stimmung, gute Gesellschaft, leckeres Essen und natürlich die atemberaubende Landschaft Islands. Unser kleiner Trip war wirklich ein Traum und ich werde in lange in guter Erinnerung behalten. Im heutigen #MyCupofTea Post möchte ich vor allem meine Gedanken sammeln, alle Tipps & Co gibt es dann in einem kleinen Island Guide Ende der Woche. Als Preview wartet außerdem noch eine extralange Weekly Vlog Episode auf euch, die hoffentlich morgen fertig ist – bleibt dran.

It’s time for another #MyCupofTea! The last recaps I did where mainly on Instagram Live and ideally you should be able to get a written overview of my week and a live chat as well. If we are already talking about all things „Live“: Leave me a comment, when a small session during the week and at the weekend fits best in your busy schedule. I love those spontanous Q&As and would love to share those moments with as many of you as possible.

Verflixt, jetzt wird es aber mal wieder Zeit für eine gemeinsame #MyCupofTea! Die letzten Editionen habe ich im Instagram Livechat stattfinden lassen und idealerweise solltet ihr euch ja über beides freuen können. Wenn wir schon beim Thema Live sind: Schreibt mir gerne in die Kommentare, wann euch eine kleine Session unter der Woche und am Wochenende am besten in den Kram passt. Mir macht es nämlich super viel Spaß und ich möchte natürlich, dass so viele wie möglich zuschauen können!

My cup of tea – #7

I started out January with a well-structured content plan – and then I find myself in (almost) mid-February with a scrappy editorial plan and a huge box of handkerchiefs and aspirin complex – all tucked up in bed. The winter, the travelling and my „own weaker self“ have probably somehow overtaken me. With high speed. Today is Monday – #MyCupofTea time – and I finally have enough energy to write a new post. And in general, not only the New Year is good for a new beginning but sometimes it can also be the 13th of February at 5.53PM. What did you guys do the last couple of days – let me know in the comments below!

Im Januar bin ich mit einem gut strukturierten Contentplan ins neue Jahr gestartet – um dann jetzt (fast) Mitte Februar vor einem lückenhaften Redaktionsplan und einer riesigen Box Taschentücher und Aspirin Komplex zu sitzen. Der Winter, die Reiserei und mein eigener Schweinehund haben mich wohl irgendwie ein- und überholt. Im Galopp. Heute ist Montag – #MyCupofTea Zeit – und ich habe endlich wieder genug Elan und Energie einen neuen Post zu tippen. Und generell ist nicht nur Neujahr für einen Neuanfang gut, sondern manchmal kann es auch der 13. Februar 17.53 Uhr sein.

My cup of tea – #52

Time flies, guys! It’s almost the end of the year and I am busy as ever. There is also a lot going on in the background and I am in the process of re-shaping everything regarding the blog and my YouTube channel. We are not currently working on a proper relaunch of our design – I am more ore less invested in evolving our content to other verticals and topics. This cup of tea was sitting in my drafts for 2-3 weeks now, and I don’t really know how I feel about that. I think I need some time to rethink this format and don’t get me wrong, it’s here to stay. But every now and then I simply don’t have enough time to put it together the way I really want to. Stay tuned for more news!

Wie die Zeit vergeht! Es ist fast Ende des Jahres und ich habe kaum eine freie Minute zum Durchatmen. Vor allem im Hintergrund ist eine Menge los und ich bin dabei einige größere Veränderungen am Blog und YouTube-Kanal vorzunehmen. Ich arbeite derzeit jedoch nicht an einem richtigen Relaunch des Designs – sondern es geht mehr um die Entwicklung der Inhalte und neuen Blog Kategorien. Da blieb auch der Cup of Tea-Post auf der Strecke… dieser Entwurf hier schlummert nämlich schon fast 2-3 Wochen in meinem Content Management System! Ich brauche einfach etwas Zeit, das Format zu überarbeiten – keine Angst, es wird definitiv bleiben. Ich will nur sicher stellen, dass ich es auch tatsächlich in meinem Kalender unterbringen kann.

My cup of tea – #47-49

I was – AGAIN – traveling back and forth between Germany and the UK and had the chance to spent more time with my family. Right now, I already touched down in London and can’t wait to settle in and take a deep breath. I really enjoy flying back home but three times in a month is a little much. Now it’s time to get ready for Christmas and relax!

Es ging mal wieder zurück nach Deutschland und so habe ich im November den absoluten Pendel-Rekord gebrochen. Nachdem ich nun viel Zeit mit der Familie vebringen konnte, bin ich auch wieder froh zuhause in London zu sein und endlich mal wieder durchzuatmen. Außerdem freue ich mich extrem auf die bevorstehende Weiehnachtszeit und hoffe endlich mal wieder den Kopf freizubekommen.
