Outfit: Off the shoulder @ Soho

Instagram made me do it: I always loved the „off the shoulder“ look but struggled to find the perfect piece for me this summer. Last week I stumbled upon this beauty while shopping at Oxford Street – a place I rarely go to and I promise, I didn’t intend to buy anything in the first place. This blouse is the perfect mix of bohemian elegance and casual daytime adequacy. I just love it.

Instagram ist Schuld! Den „Off the shoulder“-Look habe ich schon immer geliebt, aber irgendwie wollte mir diesen Sommer kein Teil so richtig passen. Bis ich über diese Bluse gestolpert bin, als wir letzte Woche auf der Oxford Street unterwegs waren. Eigentlich wollte ich ja gar nichts kaufen, aber ihr wisst ja wie das ist… Das Blüschen ist für mich die perfekte Mischung zwischen Eleganz mit einem Hauch Bohème und lässiger Alltagsangemessenheit. Ich liebe sie!

Outfit: Summer Walk

Es gibt Kombinationen, die passen einfach zusammen. Und es gibt Farben, die man mit bestimmten Jahreszeiten verbindet – erst einmal. Beides trifft auf Weinrot und Senfgelb zu. Zusammen schmeicheln diese Nuancen meinem Teint sehr und erinnern die meisten wohl an herbstliche Blätterwälder und goldene Erntezeit. Kann man das auch im Sommer anziehen? Probieren wit es doch einfach mal aus!

Ob der herbstliche Mix auch bei über 20 Grad Celsius funktioniert, seht ihr nach dem Sprung!

And the following things apply perfectly to this likewise perfect match: burgundy and mustard. Make my fair skin stand out and compliment each other so well – mostly worn in: autumn. Outfit: Rosy Morning Glory

Da kommt man wieder in London an und wird gleich vom heftigen Aprilwetter begrüßt! Na vielen Dank auch, wir haben doch schon Mai! Aber ganz ehrlich: Was gibt es Schöneres, als den Geruch nach einem deftigen Regenschauer und das Glitzern der Sonne auf dem feuchten Asphalt am frühen Morgen? Richtig – nicht viel. Okay, vielleicht diese Rosa-Glitzer-Accessoires für meine Sneaker, die ich kürzlich entdeckt habe – allerdings hat die Luftfeuchtigkeit kurzfristig eine leichte Wellenbewegung aus dem soften Material heraus gekitzelt.

I am finally back in London and guess what’s up for a warm welcome? You are right: stormy weather featuring lots of raindrops that make me think of April – sun beams where are you? It’s May! But nothing smells better than the air after a fierce rainstorm. What’s also new? Those rose colored glitter thingies that I put on my Miu Miu sneakers to spice up my monochrome look.

Outfit: Postkarte aus der Heimat

Meine kleine Postkarte aus der Heimat, geschossen von der besten heimischen Lieblingsfotografin, kommt etwas verspätet: Mit einer dicken Mandelentzündung aus dem Londoner Bett! Was für ein tolles Souvenir aus Deutschland. Der Besuch war umso schöner und deswegen freue ich mich, einen Look samt alteingesessener Lieblingslocation präsentieren zu dürfen. Der Clou: In den Nachwehen meines Umzugschaos tauchte eine verloren geglaubte Highstreet Bluse aus dem Jahr (sagen wir mal:) 2012 auf, die ich lange verzweifelt gesucht habe. Willkommen zurück!

My little hometown postcard, shoot by my favorite photographer back home, is a little bit late. In fact, I am not in Germany anymore – I am in my beloved London bed, but not by choice. A really sore throat and infection was my travel companion and knocked me out for the last couple of days. But right now I feel a little bit better and wanted to share the following casual look with you guys! Outfit: Stine Goya & Wild Swans

Ich werde oft nach London Tipps gefragt: Die schönsten Orte zum brunchen, shoppen und unterkommen und in 99,9% der Fälle kann ich nur mit der Schulter zucken. Ich sehe mich selber noch gar nicht als Insider dieser großen Stadt mit all ihren hippen Ecken und muss selbst noch viel entdecken. Aber über einen wundervollen Laden bin ich vor einigen Wochen bereits gestolpert – Wild Swans in Islington. Skandinavische Homeware, Mode von Stine Goya und Baumundpferdgarten und super hilfsbereites Personal – meine Empfehlung für euren nächsten Shoppingtrip abseits der Highstreet.

I get asked about London tipps all the the time: where to eat, shop and stay and most of the time I am completely blank and don’t really know what to suggest. I am still an absolute newbie when it comes to this big city and have some exploring to do for myself. But one shop in Islington really stood out to me: Wild Swans. They have the best scandinavian selection of fashion brands – featuring favorites like Stine Goya and Baumundpferdgarten, homeware and the most friendly staff ever.

Meine Taschensammlung

Als Modeliebhaberin sammelt man über die Jahre so einige Schätze an – eine meiner größten Schwächen sind Taschen. Ich brauche nicht ständig etwas neues, aber liebe die absoluten Klassiker in alltagstauglichen Farben. Deswegen zeige ich euch heute meine Taschensammlung: Angefangen von meiner allerersten Designertasche, der Mit Mir Bow Bag in dezentem Taupe, bis zu knalligen Chanel Iconic Bag. Viel Spaß!

As a true fashion lover I am also a collector. My biggest pet peeve are bags. Easy as that! But I don’t tend to buy new things all the time, right now I am really happy with my collection of well-loved basics in muted colors. See all my lovelies right after the jump!

Welcome back, sanfte Frühlingssonne! Was habe ich dich vermisst. Genauso wie ich kein Sommermädchen bin, bin ich auch kein Wintermädchen – sondern gerne alles zwischendrin. Goldener Herbst, dufter Frühling – genau meins. Die Wiesen werden wieder bunt, die Menschen freundlicher und die Stadt lebendig. Die extra Portion Vitamin D macht’s! Das passende Outfit für erste Sonnenstrahlen gibt es direkt nach dem Sprung.

Outfit: Blue, Boyfriend & Beanie

Die 3 großen B’s. Alle vereint in einem Look und definitiv wieder im Fokus: die kuschelige Cashmere Beanie von Zara Home (dabei ist das doch gar kein Einrichtungsgegenstand?). Aber auch die graue Boyfriend Jeans von mavi sollte euch noch aus diesem Post bekannt vorkommen und ganz un-modebloggertypisch habe ich sie mit flachen Sneakers kombiniert. Die blauen Akzente spenden das dritte B – alle Details nach dem Sprung!

It’s all about the big B’s today. Sounds kinda cryptic but my beloved cashmere beanie, the blue details and the distressed boyfriend jeans are doing their best to transform this casual look into a stunner.

Outfit: Vintage Marc Jacobs!

Es ist Freitag und damit Zeit für einen Outfitpost der Lust auf gute Laune und Wochenende macht! Mit diesem Look wurden erfolgreich die letzten Sonnenstrahlen genossen und das bereits luftige Kleid macht sich unter dem ausreichend wärmenden Trenchcoat besonders gut. Was tragt ihr bei solch unstabilen Temperaturen im Frühling am liebsten?

#TGIF everyone – it’s that time of the week again. For the perfect celebration mood I opted for an extra sunny outfit featuring my favorite vintage dress by Marc by Marc Jacobs. Styled with some second hand pieces that I own for a very long time. I got this dress in New York when I stayed there for fashion week this year and it’s one of those thrift store finde… let me tell ya: You walk into that store and it’s packed with so many things and you start looking and end up in the changing room with tulle dresses and other crazy dresses and tops. But when you put on that perfect piece you know it instantly: You need to get it – no matter what the price tag says! But this time I was lucky, because it was such a bargain and I went to the checkout within a wink.

Outfit: Bitte recht förmlich, Teil 2!

Ich nehme Dinge sehr ernst. Einladungen zum Beispiel. Und wenn man mich fragt, ob ich Begleitung, Plus 1 und Minus 1 in einer Person sein will, dann wird das volle Programm durchgezogen. Während Jasmin also gerade tatsächlich durch Japan irrt und 3 Tonnen Sushi isst, grinse ich weiterhin über unseren Männlein & Weiblein Look, der nur noch durch den idyllischen Dorfhintergrund die komplette Übertreibung findet. Und natürlich über die Tatsache, dass sich in diesem Aufzug wunderbar Kirchenlieder playback singen lassen, aber das kann ich euch hiermit leider nicht bildlich übermitteln. Eventuell ist das auch besser so.
