Natürlich sind die ersten Tage im neuen Jahr zwangsläufig nichts „Besonderes“ – ich persönlich mag aber die Magie und Motivation, die ein Jahreswechsel mit sich bringen kann. Manchmal fällt es einem im Alltag auch schwer einen Schlussstrich zu ziehen oder eben den Mut zu einem Neuanfang aufzubringen. Kurz nach 0 Uhr mit der Wunderkerze in der Hand (und dem Champagner im Kopf): Nichts leichter als das! So geht es mir manchmal mit persönlichen Zielen und den üblichen Aufgaben und Vorsätzen, die man sich eben so vornimmt – das was ich mir für den Blog vorgenommen habe, reifte allerdings eine ganze Weile länger und fühlt sich deshalb organisch und natürlich an. Mir geht es weniger um den Look, einen neuen Namen oder eine größere Zielgruppe – mir geht es um die Inhalte. TEA&TWIGS ist sicherlich schon lange kein (reiner) Modeblog mehr.
Doch was ist das eigentlich hier?
Of course, the first days of the new year aren’t necessary „special“ – but personally, I like the magic and motivation that a turn of the year can spark. Sometimes it’s hard in everyday life to come up with the courage for a reset or a new beginning. Shortly after midnight, a sparkler in one hand (and the champagne in the head): Nothing easier than that! This is how I feel sometimes about personal goals and the usual tasks and intentions – but regarding the blog, the process looks quite different. New ideas matured for a whole while longer and they feel therefore organic and natural. I’m less concerned about the design part, a new name or a bigger target group – I’m „concerned“ about the content. TEA & TWIGS is certainly no longer a (pure) fashion blog.
